Girls' Night Out at Town Point Club!

Our Fun-filled Tuesday Evening!
I had the privaledge of spending a few hours of fun with 47 great new girlfriends at Town Point Club this week!
I was honored to demonstrate a workshop on general floral design, but let me tell you... these ladies show-cased some fantastic artistic displays by the end of our session!
We enjoyed a scrumptious menu designed by Chef Danny.....the salmon salad was light and oh so delicious!

Our Valentine's Day Bride

Angelica was the sweetest bride! She knew what she wanted and I simply implemented her beautiful design. Ken from AMPA events captured her beautiful lighting in both the ceremony and reception as well! We chose a 24 foot crystal curtain with specialty lighting and a gobo on the bridal runway! The reception featured 5ft boccara rose arrangements with a touch of crystal beadings and tons of large crystals scattered on the tables! Extra unique toouches included hand opened roses floating in a water gel solution and lots of candles which invited the celebratory intimacy into the room. It was amazing!

We met Crystal almost one year ago at a very special bridal show in Newport News, Va. She didnt expect to win anything that day..... check out her gorgeous pictures as she enjoyed the unique bouquet that she chose to have designed to capture her dream wedding!

What a FANTASTIC Wedding Season!

To sum up this wedding season, all I can say is "WOW"
......I have really missed you guys! We have lots of catching up to do! We have had the most elegant gracious brides this season and I cant wait for you to see them on our updated website! So many beautiful weddings and wonderful families to work with! You will see each of their unique pictures featured by some of the best photographers in the industry! Hot off the press!

Recently featured in the hottest magazine known to brides, we were absolutely honored to see our floral designs listed among the best in the area! They are also featured on Wedding Channel.com!

Our bride and groom Sharon and Franklin chose the Virginia Air and Space Museum which was a unique venue to decorate especially when air planes are flying overhead!

Uniquely Yours Bridal Show

Wow! What a fabulous show for new brides to get a first hand view of various local vendors in the area! We had a blast meeting all the brides who stopped by our table....we just wish we had the opportunity to talk with all the brides that attended! Our booth was jammed packed with brides! We showcased unique elegant floral centerpieces, bouquets and delicious linen options that will captivate your guests!

Pearl did a beautiful job organizing this show and after working with her in Costa Rica with my girlfriend's wedding she definitely knows how to pull it together! Congrats on a great job!

Many thanks to all the new brides we were privaledged to meet and we are excited to work with you on your upcoming special wedding events...what a terrific year it will be in 2010!

What a wonderful day at the Point Plaza Bridal Show on Sunday! Very well put together by Gail, this bridal show was no sleeper. We saw a great group of brides who were eager to learn about the latest trends and design ideas for their upcoming wedding! Point Plaza Hotel did a great job in producing this wedding show and offered a nice selection of menu options!

Dave from Studio 757 was in attendance and displayed his talents with his unique photography!

Ames Tuxedos out of NewportNews offers the best tuxedos and believe me they have everything for your men to be beautifully dressed as the bridal show featured great tuxedo options!

Back to the brides.....this show allowed me to meet such a lovely group of ladies! I so enjoy hearing about the colors of each wedding, the locations that they are considering and all the details of the planning! One bride chose Las Vegas as her destination wedding and another future bride is preparing for a local beach wedding! Oh, and the color palette a few brides chose salmon and yellow...(dont sleep on yellow for 2010), teals with green, and vibrant colors such as fushia and lime green! I love the different options that allow each bride to make their wedding day unique! Take a look at this inspiration board for ideas...Happy Planning!

What an amazing focal point to have red sunflowers take the center of attention at this poolside wedding and reception! Meghan and Brendan were so madly in love and it showed thru their amazing pictures captured by Andi.....their fabulous photogrpaher! The color of your choice is an important component when designing your wedding. I am working with a bride who is getting married in September and has not chosen her color yet.....We are proceeding cautiously, as color invites the critical link and the key to the "feel" you want your guests to have on your wedding day!

Dont limit your choices!
You can have any color of the rainbow, but keep it in the family of contrasting or monochromatic. So whether you want Pool Blue or Vintage Lavendar, your color scheme will establish the tone and the environment when choosing the flowers to accessorize!
